This section contains a marginal note in Latin in the right margin, indicated by its own punctuation mark of a triangular arrangement of three dots. Note also that the scribe Aldred's description of himself as a miserable and unworthy priest is also in Latin, and is followed by a different triangular punctuation mark (perhaps a sort of Anglo-Saxon exclamation mark?)
