The memorandum at the end has been chopped off by the photographer in the British Library, but it was taken so long ago and for somebody else that can't send it back for a better copy. It refers to four books of blazonings and arms and a book of knighthood, which includes material on the making of knights, jousts, tournaments, fighting in lists and various other military matters. These would all seem to have some significance to the rising status of the Pastons. There is also a book of new statutes of Edward IV, showing his interest in current politics and policy. The chopped off section below the bottom of the photograph is included in the transcript as it is too interesting to leave out.
