Most of the abbreviations are simple contractions. There is no use of the nomina sacra terms. The abbreviation for misericordiae is an example of an extreme abbreviation for a very common word, which is just meant to be recognisable almost as a symbol, rather then following any of the standard rules of abbreviation. |
