Well if you have battled your way through that lot you are a hero. If it seemed like hard going, be assured that you will probably never encounter an untranscribed piece of that script in the wild. I suspect that every example in existence has probably been transcribed, translated, annotated and commentated upon decades ago. Still, if some mysterious little scrap appears out of an old bookbinding or some such, you may be one of the few people in the world who can do the job. If you want to try a complete transcript, just open the text pages and write it out on ye olde piece of paper, then check the transcript against the one provided here. |
