As can be seen, the Gothic textura script is essentially the same for the Middle English and Latin text, with the exception of the appearance in English of those letters which do not appear in Latin. The red cross in the first line of musical notation shows the point at which each new singer enters the round. The square notation indicates the pitch and length of notes, and there are rests marked as vertical lines. |
